"Champions of 3rd place, we know what we are"

No, I think they are pretty boring too.

I like games where two teams are fighting for the win. Playing with a sporting intent.

I dont like games that are completely one sided, in either quality or intent.

Juve were out matched and it was boring. Until the result flipped, and then Juve used every trick in the book to play the clock out. Which was boring, and left a sour taste.

Barca? Its like watching Celtic, no matter how well they play its as one sided as it gets and its a yawn.

The only time I enjoy Barca is when its an El Classico and Real are in form, makes for a good game.

That's why the end of season play off games can be some of the best.

So if we had clattered a few Juve bods and used the dark arts and won.
Would that be a step too far?

It really depends to which degree.

If its a case of standing up to being bullied, and its not a completely cynical ploy to win the game, then Im fine.

If it is, then Im not.

I appreciate its a subjective thing, but for me the intent with which we play is important.

Competitive? physical? Totally fine. Making a tactical policy out of kicking players instead of trying to be a better footballer? Not fine at all.

Juve last night (IMO) pretty much resorted to kicking us to bits after we scored

Once they got their “lucky” break for the goal they controlled their fouling but still did plenty to hurt us as the punch on son shows...

They had lost it mentally up to the point the got the goal IMO

Top 4. We're five points clear of a troubled Chelsea and the Woolwich are out of sight; missing out would imply a collapse much more painful than a respectable, undeserved exit to a Mancunian club in the semi-final.

Shame about City. Otherwise it would be a tight run thing for the Title between us, pool and united. I guess its vital to get CL each year and especially when we cristen new WHL.
