Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

GHod a lot of things that could stop pitch moving in/out or up/down
will need lots of maintenance staff when we plan to move the pitch

I nearly went there for lunch. Walked in and asked the waitress “excuse me is this where first dates is filmed?”. She replied “mmmm I’m not sure I can ask. Er yeh i think it is.”

It wasn’t. I was all confused.

Paternoster chop house
It’s under my old office
Used to get people standing outside doing selfies... and it’s a normal restaurant most of the time

Not overly convinced Chris is up there with the Attenboroughs but fair play, he's out there every week giving us pretty comprehensive updates (shout out to who's ever giving him access to their premises in Park Lane). Overall I feel like I've been privileged to watch the gestatiion of a magnificent piece of architecture. So "chapeau" to him, Spurs and everybody else who has documented the rebirth of our spiritual home.

He is not a professional and it's glaringly obvious. But I respect him for giving it a go and giving spurs fans decent updates.

Any news on the stadium sponsors yet? I'm guessing they want to give it a bit of time to be absolutely sure it will be ready for next season before doing anything but any sponsor will surely want a 3-6 month lead time for an advertising campaign and to take advantage of the media exposure.

Ive said it before it’s like you’re watching your new build home going up and you’re getting the keys in August/September. My wife doesn’t understand this mind you.

A lot of talk of Nike being the sponsor.

I very much doubt it - I don't think they'd want to be seen to be doing something so partisan, when they want football fans of all colours to buy their tat

Also from our point of view there's the moral issues about partnering with an unethical company so infamous for its exploitative labour practices.
