Christian Eriksen

Eriksen doesn't get enough credit for his defensive work imo. Yes he doesn't go flying in to tackles or duels as much as some, but his tracking, pressing and covering is absolutely to notch.

Can seemingly play just about anywhere too. Left, right, centre, attacking midfield, box to box, deep in midfield. Just lovely.

Its because he doesn't charge in he is almost not recognised for his work there

Interviewer: "Christian, you scored in eleven seconds... how about that!"

Eriksen: "They said it was tend actually, so I'll take it as ten!"

This guy is the epitome of cool! We are so lucky to have it and all the Bale money was actually worthwhile spending just to have gotten him.

I think that part of his game really came alive last season. He is still learning, that much is clear...

I can't place it and, given his performance and goal on Wednesday, didn't hear anything for him. Some for Harry & Dele though - neither of whom scored although playing well.

Been at every minute of every home match except barnsley and soton where travel problems prevented.

Looking forward to hearing it on Wednesday - unless anyone could oblige with words & tune, or maybe a youtube clip ...

I loathe football chants and songs..........I have been known to bellow the odd Com'on You Whites!
Liverpool have ruined football singing for me.....

Aha - can't say I've heard it. Agadoo, eh ?

I was struck earlier by the tune that came over my Dad's radio as an alarm - the punchline (and perhaps all the other words) would need changing. "An English country Garden" sits well with "The Danish/Stylish Christian Eriksen".

The short couplets lend themselves to lauding his different attributes. No rush for one to rave about goals from free kicks - sadly.

Two songs with Ozil's name in them. Two. Ozil has two more Spurs songs than Davinson Sanchez does. And it's not even needed as a rhyme in the Eriksen song, as it is with the Dele one. This bugs me. Singing about sticking Sol Campbell up your arse is different.

Could change one from Ozil to Cahill
