As per the thread title. Our revenues are now the 8th highest in the World (up from 10th). Last year's revenues saw us overtake Arsenal and Chelsea to become the highest grossing club in London.

The revenue does include our run to the CL final. However it does not include a full season in the new stadium.

    Full details and report: here

Well done to the playing and non-playing staff of the club and also the fans. Well done.

And importantly doesn't cover a full season in the new stadium, which will only see us move further up the money ladder and further still when a naming rights deal is signed.

Will be severely dissapointed if that doesn't start to translate in to serious investment in the team.

It will I believe but I think it will take upto 5 years and this is year 1. So a ways to go.
We must though get European football or I think will slow the growth markedly.
Don't see CL this year so will have to settle for Europa.
Bottom line is I've never imagined the stadium revenue streams at full tilt till 2024/5

Revenues from the stadium will certainly increase over time with additional events and sponsorship deals but even just in football mode we will be reaping financial benefits from the beginning.

Problem with these reports is that all clubs don’t report their data at the same time
They also don’t highlight profit against that turnover which is the all important number for reinvestment

I would imagine that the additional stadium revenues won't make up for the likely loss of revenue from the CL (can't see us making the final) and the PL (can't see us finishing 4th).

If we drop out of CL next season then Chelsea will go/stay above us and Arsenal may also go back above us (that one would be tight).

Now might actually be a good time to sign a slightly lower stadium sponsorship deal. Settle for maybe £18m a season to help bridge some of the revenue loss.

There will/could be short term pain from paying out for the basic build. I have been told been my Son.

I think the deloitte numbers are based on unofficial figures or even estimated figures, as we (and other clubs) haven't reported figures for that period yet.

Obviously the benefit will increase over time as the debt is paid off but the short term pain should now be over (That was when we had the huge costs to pay for the build before reaping any of the additional income). The year at Wembley and the huge hike in revenue (compared to WHL) may actually have helped saved our club financially.

Sadly this is very true - but it will all built in to financial models the financers use.
The stadium is a 'long term' investment and will take time to generate wealth for the club.

These set of accounts will have come from when we were at Wembley, no? I'd imagine there must be a substantial increase in stadium related revenue when comparing to the new stadium. How close to what we lose from a year out of the CL i don't know, but the year out won't hit the next years accounts it'll be the year after

    There are various figures...
    I’ve read we made £113m
And the Deloitte report has a different figure to you
In reality these “models” are just beat guesses

Deloitte say we also got additional payments from sponsors.

Chelsea will be taking a hit next year having announced a whacking £98M loss on 31-12-19 though... so not sure they will overtake us next year again

This is based on revenue only. A loss does not have any impact on revenue.
