I lay that on bad management and Gerrard before I lay that on Lampard.

Lampard was, IMO, a bloody good player.

Oh come on, don't be silly. Lampard was an excellent player. Your love of Spurs / hatred of non-Spurs cripples your opinions.

I don't think he was nearly as good as people think he was. His performances for the national team are a good example.

to be fair to fat frank, any midfield with Gerrard in it was going to be fudged because he was incapable of ever being in the right place and seemed to manage at least one horrific turnover in every game

They are a bad example, because (much like Alli in the summer) he wasnt played anywhere near to his strengths.

He was played in a compromised way to account for the over rated muppet that was Gerrard.

For Chelsea he was outstanding. And not in a "luxury player who they accomodated" way, he was integral to that team.

    Will it stick?

That would be them fudged if it does!

No choice but to keep players who want to leave, no chance to build the team into Sarri-ball

When the sack Sarri who will take over?

Is the Higuain deal with an option to buy? Potentially they dont have a striker next season too...

All far to good to be true, Im going to guess at them successfully challenging it and getting it down to "slap on the wrist"

Wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing for them if it did stick. They have a lot of very talented youngsters and their downfall has been investing in average foreigners of late....

They will probably drag it out enough to be able to stock up in the summer and have the ban next year.

They will appeal and it would not surprise me if they won that appeal. We can live in hope though.

They ought to treat it like 29 separate cases. No new senior signings for 15 years.

Lol, we've just had our own self imposed two window transfer ban.

They have shown no willingness at all to use these youngsters, it would be a remarkable change of tact if they were able to suddenly start introducing them successfully.

    Should be interesting either way.

Though as I said, I rather expect the ban wont come to pass
