VIZ comic

I have arrived at the conclusion that VIZ comic has influenced my vocabulary far more than I thought possible over the decades. From the likes of Rude Kid ("p iss up a rope fu ck stick") to the much missed Paul Whicker Tall Vicar, to Roger Mellie to Johnny Fartpants, I continue to find small phrases drifting through my mind out of my mouth. The Profanisaurus remains my equivalent of 'the good book', and Top Tips is a constant source of inspiration!

GHod knows how I remember this from 1992 or whatever.

Sherlock Holmes is sat waiting for his dinner, in the living room.
His wife says that they will eat dinner whilst sat on the sofa watching TV, as there is a good programme coming on soon.
Oh lovely says Sherlock.
His wife asks him if he wants to use the orange tray, or the lemon.
Sherlock says "A lemon tray my dear, what's on?"
