My kids all like traditional lemon and sugar, but grandkids have a varied selection from fresh strawberries, nutella, chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce with squirty cream. When we go to the states the kids empty the syrup jars in pancake houses.

Most of my grandkids do, use to take my daughter to the Old Kentucky Pancake House next to the London Palladium in the 70's as a treat.

I remember a good while back always declaring on pancake day 'why the f.ck don't we eat these more often!'...well the message got thru in the end...

We have pancakes at least 3-4 times a week now.

Good old lemon and sugar my fav...but I'll do various savoury ones as well for lunch.
