Evening All,

I have formatted my phone today (HTC Sensation) and when I go into my phone contacts the system says that there are 144 contacts in my phonebook. But only about 13 or so show up.

Any ideas why ?

Ive tried re-booting my phone without the sim and its the same issue.

I seem to remember a similar problem when I re-booted my HTC Desire.

I could find no way round it, despite looking in many places, and ended up manually re-inputting all my contacts on the phone (which were of course saved on Google)
 
Hi I dont know if this helps but try attaching your phone to a pc via the usb cable, it should then show up in My computer as a removable disk drive click on that then de-fragment it as you would your main hard drive, presuming you are using a Windows computer. it takes a little while but it may solve the problem
