Edinburgh

Hotels are bloody expensive

They've all whacked their rates up on the Saturday because of the Marathon

Travel Lodge at the Airport mate - 88 and 70.
Only a 20min bus ride or moderate priced taxi to city centre.
Might be better than pying through the nose for a room.

But then you end up paying through hemp decor taxis! There are nomderately priced taxis in Edinburgh!

Yeah, she'd be well impressed with that

I could also take her to the Harvester for dinner

Went for the Apex Waterloo in the end. Looks very nice.

fudge that, you'd have to pay ME to stay at a Travel Lodge. Premier Inn are decent for the price but I've seen some shocking Travel Lodges. They're the Ryan Air of hotels! If I'm going cheap it's Premier Inn or B&B for me.
