I definitely didn't prefer Spence over him. Spence's far post defending is pretty poor even though his one on one defending is pretty decent. Spence unbalanced us because of his right footedness and he often lost his intensity as a defender. You wouldn't fear playing up against Spence if you were a left attacker. You know you're getting through at some point.

All I wanted was Udogie to get settled into that role and iron out some cracks in his game. I have a feeling it may never happen.
