Shepperd's Bush is where my wife goes for fabric, but she said she's not sure about spray paint. Soho, she says, is good for craft shops...

Hobbycraft is actually pretty fudgein good.
I was looking for something to do with cars I went to car part shops, other shops, scrap yards etc and was parked up next to hobbycraft. Went in there on a whim and found what I had wanted. It was like a car strap thingy bob to keep the battery in place.
