I fudging wish. Guardian podcast and Express have suggested our Argentinian connection could sway him to accept a wage drop. Hard to imagine a team as good as Kane, Ali, Di Maria and Eriksen up front. Never mind the famous three, we've would have the fabulous four.

Wages makes it a non starter surely. Wage drop is one thing, but we're probably talking a huge wage cut for him to come here.

He was excellent in that last 6 month at Real. He was really coming into his own playing a box to box for, the more attacking of a midfield trio (other two being Alonso and Modric, right?). As far as I can tell neither United or PSG have given him an extended run in that role again.

I think he could be a gem of a signing for the team that needs a player for that specific role. That's not us.
