Did we do one of these last year? Anyway here are my predictions for the coming year.
Trump will be indicted by Fanni Willis for election interference. Jack Smith will also indict him for the Mar-A-Lago documents stuff, and the Jan 6 coup attempt along with other republican lawmakers. He'll try and run as an independent after losing the GOP nomination in a last-ditch effort to save his own skin.
The NHS will more or less fall apart as per the Tories' plan. Their popularity will continue to slide and rejoin will become a central political talking point. Starmer will continue to not seize the moment.
Most people will continue their life ignoring the climate crises that will shortly wipe them out and moan about people who are trying to save them. Record floods, fires, and storms again. Food prices will rocket.
Covid will decimate China and Xi will invade Taiwan as he tries to cling to power.
Ukraine will finally get ATAMCS and main battle tanks from the West and retake Crimea. Putin will be defenestrated or get 'ill' kicking off a power battle between Kadyrov and Prigozhin or some other such monster. The Russian Federation will begin to fall apart.
