Just back from the lane - met all of the players

If you change the format (bmp, jpeg, gif) in any editor, you can make them much smaller in size without changing their dimensions. Changing a bmp to a jpeg probably won't affect the quality that much, but can reduce the size of the file by an insane amount.

Enrique started well, but his form has dipped recently. At the start of the season he was probably the best left back in the league, I feel that BAE outperformed Baines, Evra and Cole (although Cole didn't have protection) over the first half of the season. Cole has been much better in the...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

I didn't take offence or anything. I just get comments like that quite often, so I automatically defended my posting style. Thank you. No worries at all. :)

What Have you been massively wrong about this season?

Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Evans. Arsenal not finishing in the top 4. Us finishing 3rd. Us being closer to 2nd than 4th. Us being closer to 1st than 4th. I didn't think Swansea would be able to dominate possession against good teams. I didn't think AVB would get sacked this season. (He was...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Well, a simpler answer is that a back 3 against a lone striker is usually a bad idea... One of the very very very few examples of when it's a good idea is when you're playing against a false 9 and deploy a DM to track him, making it a back 4 when the false 9 plays as a striker, but following him...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

I'd argue that a suicide 3-4-3 with the total football style of defence is about the most fluid and dynamic formation possible. It's an insanely risky formation but it's hard to imagine a more fluid or dynamic formation than that. Of course, it's insanely reliant on player ability, I think most...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Just to avoid confusion later: The back 3 in Moonlit's 3-5-2 are 3 CBs, so that's a traditional back 3... A suicide back 3 was a term used by someone on this board that I'm stealing... :P When I talk about a sucide back 3 it'd be something like Walker, Kaboul, BAE... 1 RB, 1 LB, 1 CB. The RB...

    Kyle Walker

A lot of people vote for the young player award as "breakthrough player". Ronaldo missed out on it when he was near the age cap because he was an established player (although he did win player of the year and young player of the year in the same season once), I'm guessing Aguero was overlooked...

It's BAE's fault for X, for X, for X, for X. His covering of King's ass was not good enough... What sort of insanity is that? It's BAE's fault because he has too many vowels in his name... There, I made it easier for you. Andre Santos, the Arsenal LB cannot defend. RVP can defend better...

    It Evens Itself Out Over A Season - The Ref's A ****

You're not allowed to do that. Remember the World Cup? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds2ALlHHCXI Mexico show the linesman that he got an offside really fudging wrong and they give the goal anyway, because those are the rules.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

This is from the Swissramble. We're paying almost double Saudi Sportswashing Machine's wages. Arsenal are at 124 and we're at 91. Arsenal have the most fudging retarded setup you could imagine. They reward youth and loyalty (sounds good) over talent (whoops)... So Walcott asks for 100k, they have a wage cap...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

If we stay 4th and finish ahead of Chelsea and Saudi Sportswashing Machine, where would he go? Chelsea won't have Champions League football, Man United will get Scholes again and don't pay huge fees, so that only leaves Emirates Marketing Project. But Saudi Sportswashing Machine are more likely to finish in 4th than Chelsea. Chelsea will lose at...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

You're a Spurs fan. People will look at the league, see us in 4th above Chelsea, Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Liverpool. FA Cup Semi Final. Harry is still a GHod. The FA cup show on ITV was pushing for Harry. The public want Harry... The important thing is that the next manager will be English. Woy couldn't...

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Congratulations, you just sold Bale, our back up LM and our utility midfielder that can play LM. Pienaar and Kranj are better than most of the LMs people want to bring in... We got them for virtually nothing and won't get huge fees for them even if they make a profit. Most people are talking...

A Few Questions I Can't Remember the Answers to

Our goalkeepers tend to kick the ball long, both of them do, Friedel has got better at passing it short, but whenever we kick the ball long, we seem to lose possession. Against Chelsea it was insane. Which team did we last have any luck with long balls by the goalkeeper? Can anyone remember any...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

LOL. WTF? Sack a manager that took us to the CL Quarter Finals against Real Madrid and 5th in the League? Even if Levy could see the future he'd have no way of explaining that, and if he could see the future and see the run we'd be on, he wouldn't have sacked him anyway. The England...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I do. Hagging over transfer fees but in the next sentence you don't think we have any money... This point is debatable. Dos Santos has effectively been up for sale for years. That's why he has spent most of his time on loan. No one is stupid enough to take Bentley, Jenas and co...

just got in from the game

CL football for us was 37 mil. Losing 15 mil is losing a huge chunk of that with no guarantee of anything good coming from it. Wolves sacked a manager in hope of magical morale boosts and they've drawn one and lost the other 8 or 9. We'd also have to find a manager for less than half a...

    Our "Big Name" players

----------------------- *Facepalm.* He was only arguably our best player in the first half. Did you watch our set pieces without him? His set pieces have created tons compared to the ones we had without him, even today King almost scored from one and Chelsea are very very very good in the...

    Our "Big Name" players

We're less one dimensional than Arsenal or Barca, but yes, VDV is a goalscorer... He was our top goalscorer a couple of seasons ago and is more than capable of playing in the position that's the point of the diamond in a diamond 4-4-2, that's his best position (as far as position on the pitch...
