    ***Tottenham v Brentford OMT***

Absolutely agree it’s going to be a while before we start to see what this team is. We should absolutely get much better as the season goes on as more players become available and with hopefully two new signings sorted as well in Savinho and Marmoush. This could be anything today, hope for a...

Hope they go well today but that Tel, Richy, Moore front line looks so weak. Good for Mikey getting the prem start mind.

Gave myself a nice memory just mentioning it, great game that.

Xavi isn’t even in proper training is he? Kulu could happen I guess, but I think we’ve got as much chance of Paul Stalteri making the bench as Xavi today.

Happy Premier League return day everybody (last night doesn’t count as no one cares about Woolwich). Just about to watch the Hull - United game and looking forward to us getting back to business later. I’m not seeing much in the way of an opening weekend shock anywhere given the fixtures but...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

The worst bit is that Lucy idiot woman giving herself a blue veriified tick and having herself a following now as if she’s some sort of celeb guru or person to be listened to. An ignorant, racist fool who made a stupid post due to her racist views and rightfully paid the price for it, and no...

    Richarlison

For me if Marmoush comes in, Richy just moves down one, not sure we have enough if we get a few injuries - unless a silly bid comes in of course.

Gabby always just comes across as a bit thick, and someone who will rant to generate clicks due to his thickness…. It’s talksport 101.

    Omar Marmoush

If like me you haven’t actually seen much of him in action, this gives a good idea of the sort of player he could be. Compilation time

    Savinho

Good to have more attacking options, best of luck to the lad - hopefully with the shackles of Peps system off him he can show some flair and potentially become one of our most fun to watch players.

Depends I think, it could be “for a combined fee of” or perhaps we get a “for a fee which could rise up to..” type announcement. Or maybe we just say “undisclosed fee” either way I’m just glad I’m not signing the cheque 😂

Could be wrong but I think we did something similar with Bentancur/Kulusevski.

It is, and if I was spending my money Savinho wouldn’t be even in the same post code as that fee. If I’m honest, I’d go for Gakpo over Savinho if it was a straight choice. However, as ridiculous as the fee looks (and we haven’t seen the Marmoush one yet) I think it will turn out that any fee we...

    Transfer thread

I think it can only be this, just seen an article posted on Reddit where Savinho is listed as deal agreed at something like 93 million euros rising to 97. I think we will find we get Marmoush for a decent price and people (are already) will go mad about “How much for Savinho?!” Not realising...

    Omar Marmoush

Reading a bit about him from City fans, many of them have said he is someone who plays better when he’s backed and gets a run and has confidence. I wonder how much of his World Cup performance was sitting on the bench for Haaland and coming in perhaps fairly rusty.

    The Centre Forward thread

A lot of City fans are also saying they would be happy to see them go as they’re on the bench not getting much time, they may well come here, get regular starts and minutes and actually start showing that they are quality.
