Wish we could have found some way of making his loan permanent. With all the forward focused players, having Paulinha lock down the fort would have been more reassuring... Doubt if there was any player who played for just a year for us and had such an impact and hero status. Good luck and a...

Did not age well, my friend :tearsofjoy: Lewis-Hall??? Seriously??? Would understand a short leave of absence until this is buried in other discussions o_O

Something tells me Nott Forest are not exactly the second team of Palace fans :tearsofjoy:

Getting a bit tired of this trope... he is immensely demanding and requires full support. The reason he left Brighton was because he was not willing to continue in a team whose raison d'etre was selling players. This is his first truly big club and I am pretty sure he will stay much longer if...

Vicario IS a complete goalkeeper... for Seria A. His shot stopping is exceptional and he organises welll...which is what is most important in that league ... unlike the EPL where his aerial liabilities and poor distribution are major issues...

Problem is I do not think RDZ will be happy with players who come to the party when they feel like it... no matter how good they are. Next!!

You really need to do something about that Gallagher obsession of yours.... it is simply not good for your health....

    Luka Vuskovic

I think a main issue was the suspicion that he would not sign an extension so we would need to sell him next year; when he would not likely have increased in value from the current level. As for the level of the fee... it is what - if we are lucky - we will get for Romero, an experienced world...

    Luka Vuskovic

Not sure what skills you can learn if your team plays a high line (as RDZ does) and a faster striker has the ball and is bearing down on goal

    Sandro Tonali

So that's at least van Hecke and Tonali signing specifically because of RDZ....

    Luka Vuskovic

Last year he played - in a back 3 - in a team which was defending most of the time. With a low block, pace is not paramount. Will be very interesting to see how he does in the premier where pace is the be all and the end all.....

After fleecing us for JPVH, GHod only knows what they would demand for Scott....

Actually it is three weeks... I do not expect them to play in the games but at least be involved in the technical meetings to get to know the RDZ tactics for next season

Great news about the Netherlands elimination.... maybe we can have VDV and JPVH back by the time we fly out down under!!!

    Jan Paul van Hecke

Seeing that he had exactly the same stats over a whole EPL season, it is clearly no fluke... explains why - for the crap about over paying - RDZ made sure we pushed the boat to sign him...
