Would be a great swap with Ferran Torres... whether Barca would buy that is another matter....

He's never going to be a starter under RDZ... but I would still want him in our squad and on the bench if we need to close a game ten minutes from time....

The main reason why Edwards' career hit the buffers was mental...hopefully LWB is made of sterner stuff...

Are you equating Gray and Lankshear? Much as I would have loved the latter going on loan for another season, instead of being sold, nothing he has done till now suggest he is anywhere close to Gray's potential...

No premiership team will buy Romero.... they simply will not take the risk.... not with his reputation.

There are players - and they aren't many - who you watch first time and immediately think "he's a cut above the rest".... Ledley was that; so was Judas, Dele, and Kane once he was starting games... this kid, for me, falls into that category. You can see his excellent footballing brain is always...

Your revisionism in all things Poch never ceases to amaze!!! Dembele was no different after 15 months of Poch than he had been under Villas Boas. His passing was still limited to simple 5 yarders, he still provided next to no goal threat and he still retained the tendency to run up blind alleys...

Considering VDV and JPVH were both on the plane and the Netherlands exited the WC several days after Uruguay, suggests the extended leave is primarily for him (and Pape) to work on a transfer out of the club.....

The original comment was whether we should get an "older head on a loan deal" and with EPL experience. Anyone else you can think who would fit that definition?

The only half decent player I could think that fits that bill would be Garnacho but he seems to be bound for Villa

I love your unbridled enthusiasm where young players are involved.... but to say that what Devine and Lankshear have done until now, makes them likely top half EPL players, can I have some of what you are having?

That's the least of our problems.... Our major issue is that clubs know we have no place for him with Senesi and Van Hecke and therefore will have us over a barrel in megotiations. Plus I don't see big clubs who can afford his salary jumping over each other to get his signature :(
