Ah ha! Did not know that, thx.

    Dominic Solanke

So help me I looked at the free-agent list and genuinely (genuinely!) pondered the thought of Benzema until January until I talked myself out of how ludicrous that would be (even though he'd do a better job at what we need from a CF right now than who we have)

    Savio

Interesting. At 22 years old, can he not be coached/encouraged/learn to shoot more? Or are you saying his style is too baked in for alternative skills to be taught in your opinion?

    Savio

Largely yes. I do think there were a few moments where having beaten his man/men, I'd have liked to see him work the keeper/go for a shot from an angle. Ironically, the cut-backs were in the sorts of areas Gallagher finds himself. I just cannot fathom what is going on with Solanke. He was never...

    Richarlison

I think we have mismanaged it TBH. The moves he turned down were all for the sorts of reasons players turn down moves? I agree, it cannot all be one way, however surely the onus lies on the club for not managing the situation? It's hard to imagine Paratici ballsing up a situation like this.

Dubravka Gray Tosin Senesi Robertson Fernandes Bergvall Savio Gallagher Tel Solanke It's a bit of a punt this selection, but we need Savio and Solanke to find each other's wavelength, I want to see Fernandes tried deeper, I'd like Lucas to get his roaming roving 8 way, I'd like Gallagher to...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

It is absolutely to do with what he actually said in the presser; don't say anything. Don't open that door. Close it. I refuse to believer any player responds better to being 'coached in public'. So yes, our line is different. I don't respond to those mate. If anything like that catches my...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I have stated clearly in the Everton thread where my issues lay. There was an assumption they were based on quotes legit or otherwise...unless there is a suggestion that his behaviour at the final whistle was a video ai deep fake 🤣🤣🤣🤪😉 p.s. i haven't had X for years.

I think the chance Kinsky gave them (and saved TBF) is a mistake we will see this season as a consequence of what RDZ wants.

Confidence. And we need someone to step up and take the chance. If JP scores on the back post early doors (and he should've) then it's 3 or 4 IMO. Instead we saw that decision making/lack of conviction/wanting an extra touch creeping in. Our other issue is Solanke. He needs to get more effective...

Thanks. I watched ALL his post-match pressers (with Sky and conference). I saw this. Look back at what I criticised. I did not mention any quotes directly, offered or fictional, because I was criticizing what he did on the pitch in front of 60,000+ people and TV. In MY opinion, that was wrong...

I am talking about him accosting Tel on the pitch moments after the final whistle. Performative or simply emotional impatience IMO. The presser? It's out there mate, I'm not being obtuse, I simply don't have the energy to dig up the specific one. I felt there was no need to be so detailed or...

RDZ isn't Pep, albeit I get your comparison and see what you're saying. I don't think it was anything other than frustration at the result and Tel being within easy reach of an outburst at the final whistle. IMO there is no benefit to giving a player coaching tips in that fashion so publicly...

(this is how wars start LOL ;)) Did not say you were. I think essentially we're saying similar things but the screen is never as clear as verbal words. Yes. He looks terrible. You're saying he doesn't look like he's trained with them, true. I'm saying that he looks timid, non-assertive, and...

I think you misread what I was saying? Maybe I wasn't clear? I meant that what it comes down to is Solanke NEEDING to be better, braver and more aggressive in his movements...perhaps that wasn't clear without the 'needing to be'? I thought he was very poor.
