    Bentancur and Gray are the back ups in there and they are perfectly fine. Bentancur showed under RDZ last season he’s still got it, he just got “Frank-ed” like a lot of our squad last season.

    I thought he looked good when played up top, such a small sample size though. If we ever wanted to go for that false 9 system occasionally then we could do a lot worse, but obviously longer term you want a striker.

    Liverpool desperately need a CB… but think he has to go abroad, a PL club would be mad to sign him with the reputation he has from refs and pundits in this country. It will likely drag out all summer though as everyone knows we’re stacked at CB and want to sell.

    Exactly, we’ve basically advertised we’re distressed sellers with our transfer activity so far at CB. Anyone who is interested is going to play the game with us on Romero now.
