    I see Nige has offered that Reform will pay for the election because they have instigated it, and is writing to Rachel Reeves. I don't see how the government can let one party pay for an election - so straightaway it becomes the government are wasting taxpayers money.

    yes, was just about to edit my post to say Labour have no chance. I think at the last election Labour put up a candidate but didn't actively campaign, if my memory serves me right, which it may well not.

    The judgement on Prince Harry's phone-tapping case is due to be announced anytime now. That will likely overshadow Farage's statement, for a bit at least, especially if as expected the ruling is against Harry.
