    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Well first off, I believe some have got over him already. And for those that haven't, I'm unsure your scenario would mean that they will. Not all of them anyway.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

As far as I'm aware, De Zerbi and Marseille mutually agreed to part ways.

    Igor the Departed

Possibly the last manager we appointed that had both those credentials was Mason? And before him, Sherwood...who people hated then and now...especially after he achieved 'some' degree of success here results-wise. I suspect that for many it really does matter who the person is. Though at this...

    Igor the Departed

I agree with you that Igor's 'limitations', at this time and in this context, aren't his fault really. That said, who could/should they appoint now (or 3 games ago), that is available and would best know those things?

The *WHEN* we go down thread

So maybe it isn't only news because it's Spurs...in that it would be the same for whoever.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

We'd need to come back up asap. Pursuant to that, do you see a way that Poch would still come here?

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

And our history might suggest similar? Since 1962 we've won a few cups here and there but none of those propelled us to win the league.

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

We lost, but so did the bottom 4, so we've maintained our advantage over them...with one game less to play now.;)

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Fulham spend less than us, but they spend better?

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

I'm unsure myself what exactly Levy 'sensed'. But he is/was closer to it than we are, no? What we do know is that Levy sacked Ange. One might assume then, that whatever Levy sensed, or indeed knew, gave him reason(s) to make a change. (Ange, btw, is currently not employed as a football club...

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

But take it, he did. By choice. I would imagine he knows more about football than you and I ever will. So maybe his knowledge and judgement isn't as good as we thought? And whether you or I like it or not, he will be judged on that to some extent in footy accordingly. You say 'Forest doesn't...

    This is what concerns me

I hear you. There's a lot of outside noise. As one would expect really. Media doing what media does. If it were another 'big' club instead of us, they'd likely be all over that too.

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

Whether anyone remembers what he did to Forest or not, I'm unsure how that would preclude him from having some thoughts/observations/criticisms, valid or otherwise, of our club? Or indeed, any other club he may have worked at.

    Next Manager Thread (2026 Edition)

What happens when Poch is no longer an option/savior? We could potentially put that off for now, and do as you say and appoint Poch (again), and maybe wallow in a temporary solace, of sorts. But even then, at some point, sooner or later, he won't be here...

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I hear you. Such is our need then, and with apparently such very limited viable options, we'd best hope that he doesn't stay where he's at, or get his head turned by someone else, that he doesn't move back to South America, or that he simply just retires, etc. Of course, our current Board saw...

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Hmm, ok, but unsure to what extent that narrative jives entirely with us being a 'Big top 4/6 club'? As such, seems a bit cheesy to me, and yes somewhat unfortunate, that he's the one and only, having to go back to the well, cap in hand, as it were.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Initially, yes. Though keep in mind, last time around quite a few of 'the fans' turned on Poch towards the end...

Interim Manager Discussion - Igor Tudor joined until end of season

We're also in the last 16 of CL and, yes, reckon I would likely prefer Harry over Mason with that in mind. We're unlikely to win it...(tho if we did, it may make things more interesting in the Summer:))...but even just progressing to the next round brings it's benefits. Also think style-wise...

Interim Manager Discussion - Igor Tudor joined until end of season

Uruguay's manager. As such, unsure how appealing 'holding the fort' for 12 PL games here would be. That said, we are still in CL, so wonder to what extent (if any) that may factor in to the choice of an interim manager we appoint(?)

    Is anyone actually bothered

That's not the way I feel, no.
