Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

No, but she didn’t have to give Bojo any of his spunk back either. He was always moaning about spaffing money up the wall, happy to spaff it up anything blonde though, whatever the cost.

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

has the officiating been that bad? or just usual bad? I can think of a few missed calls (a France handball, a Messi stamp), and obviously the dodgy decision for the Spence pen, but I don't think its been any worse than what we see in the PL regularly

64 teams would be the same number of rounds as this year, so less of a change than previous expansions.

    Djed Spence

I'm sure someone will find this highly offensive, but I much prefer the GNR cover of this.

I'm honestly still not sure. Anderson is tracking it the whole way and doesn't make any major deviation in his movement, he seems to read it as falling short very early.

fair point, I just think it would have been noticeable

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

I’m sure it has all that yeah, but a football hitting one of its cables would have been more force than usual/expected so would have been a visible moment of compensation surely. I’m surprised we’ve not had a proper replay yet, with all the HD camera in the stadium surely one of them is trained...

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Yes odd that snicko didn't pick it up if there was contact, also, the most common view replayed for this incident is from the spider cam itself, surely a ball smacking into one of its cables would have caused some camera wobble, which there is also no evidence of.

We have the defined outside agent rule, which I guess other sports don't. https://www.footballrules.com/offences-sanctions/outside-agents/

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

you can see Anderson (I think) tracking it the whole way to intercept and he doesn't make any sudden changes in direction you'd think there would be a better camera angle to show it though
