We'll regret missing that massive chance at 1-0. Not an undeserved result at half time, but it was squeaky bum time after Bellingham's brilliant equaliser. Sørloth should be off, he doesn't look in it at all.

All England so far. Norwegians looking slow and tired. For once I'm happy to have an advertising break!

TBF the defense is still our weak spot, but we've never been better offensively than now. And there's the X factor of Haaland and to an extent Ødegård/Nusa on top of that. England are favourites, but it would surprise me if they win easily.

    Savinho

Yeah, he's normally way better than he's shown so far in the WC, although TBF I haven't watched him much at all at club level. He'll have to up his game a few levels to be able to get past Spence, IMO. Which he is capable of, but hasn’t shown so far.

    Savinho

Could be. He's been a bit disappointing in the WC overall. Still a top player with a high ceiling.

Iran ceasefire is cancelled, meaning the orange one, his friends, family and political allies are ready to profit from inflated oil prices again.

Republicans are probably contemplating taxidermy, so they can wheel him out for proof once in a while. Wouldn't make much of a difference to his contributions to the US; in fact it might be a bit of an improvement.

    Ingerlund

It was a clear red card, but make a lot of noise and keep bringing up FIFA's new suspension practice, and they might succeed.

The Trump involvement just makes a very bad decision even worse, obviously. But the whole suspension decision is tinkle poor in itself. FIFA haven't even bothered to come up with a remotely credible explanation for their farcial decision, probably because they (a) are extremely arrogantly...

England should absolutely DEMAND the red card for Quansah be suspended, even if it was correctly given.

    FIFA: Destroying Football Since 1904

The referee and the VAR referees thought he deserved the red. They are left completely undermined by this new invention. If it had been in place from the start of the WC, fine, but you can't just cherry pick one incident where you decide to intervene without explanation with some odd, undefined...

That doesn’t make it right. When you start a competition, you establish the rules that will be in place for every team for the entire competition. You can't move the goalposts midway through, no matter how good the intentions are.
