I thought it was a pretty poor programme actually, by Panorama standards. I assume there is either more to come, or the hope is that it's the wedge in the door that brings more women forward but aside from the having the words of victims, there was nothing especially new or that wasn't known...

    Christian Eriksen

It is cruel but he had a good few more years of playing than anyone would have thought possible five years ago. Time now to sadly call it a day. Yes something he loves is being taken away from him but then someone his family loves will still be with them. I am just thankful that he appears...

    FIFA: Destroying Football Since 1904

Heard it on the radio this morning - the reason given was that Trump has said it’s for their own safety. Shocking as you say.

Doh! Somehow NBA morphed into NFL in my mind.

Interesting one isn’t it. Vinai and co may need to negotiate with Levy to win the contract. (If Levy’s consortium were to be successful).

Looks like he’s going legal on it. Extracted from his personal statement : I have not been provided with any proper explanation as to how these individuals or their claims were independently verified or assessed for credibility prior to publication. I believe that the entire process has been...

I haven't caught up on all the happenings since yesterday but I did see this the other day (not sure if already posted), which might explain why Levy is selling up : Story, such that it is (not a lot of substance) here https://insidersport.com/2026/06/01/nba-europe-daniel-levy-london-team/

I would expect the police to take it seriously yes but unless you have an actual example it’s just whistling in the wind. And regardless of expectation, Digwa was charged by the police with murder and a jury found him guilty of murder. The fact that he tried to use racism in his defence...

Well none of us can know for sure. However he has stabbed/killed someone and needs to justify his actions. Racially aggravated assault is a more serious crime than non-racially aggravated assault so it makes sense that he would pick the racial crime to bolster his defence.

I watched some of it last night and I have to say I thought Robert Kenyon came across a lot better than I expected him to, especially after the interview with Chris Mason earlier in the week. Obviously he’d been thoroughly coached in how to answer what he wanted to answer (nothing wrong with...

Off to Lords today. First time at Day 2. Mr GL had been berating me for persuading him to try Day 2 instead of Day 1 which we normally aim for. The weather yesterday (luckily) initially validated my suggestion, although I doubt we'll see wickets falling to quite the same extent as yesterday...

If I were one of those police officers having to explain myself to the IOPC, and have a choice of explaining that I acted incompetently, or explaining that I acted in accordance with what I believed was the right thing to do according to my DEI training, I think I know which way I would go. I...
