    Cristian Romero

The problem is he ALWAYS gives more care and attention to Argentina.

    Cristian Romero

But the view Deano presented was that Romero could still undergo rehab in London or Enfield where the training ground is. And let’s be real, it’s not like travel arrangements would be an issue like they would be for the rest of us. I’m sure he’s travelling in luxury by private jet. Is sticking...

    Cristian Romero

He’s not the only player representing Argentina or any other nation they qualified at the World Cup. I get some players are very proud to represent their country, but you have to balance your responsibilities at club level, especially as a club captain! At the very least he should be giving us a...

    Cristian Romero

I wasn’t against it before it happened as I thought it might improve his discipline. Not the case unfortunately, he’s far too reckless to be a captain.

    Cristian Romero

Son was a brilliant captain. We can debate his leadership style all day, but the guy absolutely loved the club and it’s obvious to all how painful it was when he had to leave. Compare the two of them as captains and the contrast is pretty stark. Son had emotional accountability, was fiercely...

    Europa League 25/26

We used to be able to do that, 2019 being the best example, CL final and 4th place in the league. Think we also got to the semis in the league cup too. Granted we didn’t get over the line but we competed on multiple fronts which id frickin love us to be able to do right now!

    Europa League 25/26

Of course it counts. Also it’s impressive they managed to achieve CL qualification through the league and didn’t have to sacrifice their league campaign like we did.

Especially when they had so many last season. Clearly had a discipline problem. I guess moaning about getting harsh treatment is the solution rather than actually trying to clean up your act and become better disciplined.

Honest question, how would you describe who we are? What we’re about? I don’t know what our identity is at the moment.

    Next seasons squad

I wouldn’t be bothered if we lost VDV and Romero too. Neither of them are consistent. Romero is a loose cannon and cannot be relied upon from a discipline pov.

Liverpool weren’t even in the running this season though. It was Arsenal or Emirates Marketing Project. Wanting Liverpool not to win it is one thing, congratulating our biggest rival is surely nothing more than a windup. Probably laughing his head off that he’s got a reaction again 😂 or he’s an Arsenal posting as a...

Definitely a missed opportunity. The atmosphere felt flat from watching it on tv. Understandable to a degree as they’ve just lost a cup final, but would have thought given the opportunity to put us in trouble would have enhanced the atmosphere. It was only really Palmer and Enzo that turned up...

West Ham have also been there before. This is new territory for us as a club in almost 50 years and for most of these players in their careers. I really hope the players and the club fully understand the seriousness of this situation now. And I hope they aren’t going into the game half-heartedly...

For me it’s the home form and our rotten forwards. I don’t trust them to put any decent chances away.

I wish I had your confidence. Our home form has been shambolic for 2 seasons and it doesn’t matter who the opposition are. I feel sick thinking about Sunday already and not sure if I can face watching it. I’ll be checking the score every two mins if I don’t. And a comment on our record at...

    Next seasons squad

Agree with all of that. The bigger question for me is how many of this crop we’d want to keep? Archie Gray is the only obvious one. I realise we can’t sell the entire squad, but struggling to think of which ones we should keep beyond the likes of Maddison, Kudus and Bergvall. The likes of...

Imagine congratulating your fiercest rivals clinching the title on a spurs forum within an hour of it happening. Baleforce up to his usual tricks and trolling again 😂 find it odd no one calls him out on it

I can’t think of a worse collection of forwards we’ve had in my life watching Spurs.
