Saw that Lewis Dunk and the Brighton manager are banned for this game, that could hopefully be a game changer (prays)

He does but at least he tries to beat a player or two, we need players who try to make things happen. As long as he's got someone behind him like Palhinha as cover to give him licence to get forward and try to create.

Correct, he has to play for me as we really have no one else to protect the defence. Let him get the ball and give it simple to those who have more passing ability. We're lacking our 3 most creative players, the ones we have available IMO are Bergvall, Tel, Xavi and Porro.

Spence is a better defender, we'll need to him on Mitoma. Porro can still move around a put the crosses in, also has a decent shot on him and is probably a better passer than Jed. Nothing to stop Spence overlapping when he can and get forward with Porro covering. As for the  bolded point you...

    Cristian Romero

For a tall lad Van Der Ven don't win many headers, quite a few times I've watched him not even bothering to jump.

    25/26 Injury and illness thread

Someone really has it in for us this season, the number and in particular length of time these injuries have disrupted us is truly incredible.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

Leeds' result yesterday knocked me as I'm usually positive. There are 5 games where we can get wins, not including Chelsea as they could have only 7 players on the pitch and still get a result against us. I understand the lack of confidence and belief in the players and fanbase as the number of...

    Cristian Romero

Thought he won the ball fairly, his reputation makes the ref give the foul and yellow. Not one to usually dig out refs as it's not easy out there but how he didn't give Brobbey a yellow when he flew into Romero I'll never know. Should have had a 3rd yellow for the 'dangerous play' shove on...

Time to go 3-4-2 and go for it Michael. Or 3-3-3

That's the thing, you can be cynical and whack someone down in their half when counter attacking and get a yellow. Undid Calvert-Lewin's hairband and gets a red.

If it was a 'violent' pull I can understand the rule and the red card, it was minimal.

Ha ha joke, that's violent conduct  Half grabbed his shirt and slight pull of his 'bun'. Modern football can do one...

Hopefully the game changer, bring off Ugarte and bring on Mbuemo. Put Amad on the right and Cunha behind Sesko with Fernades back next to Casemeiro.

Ugarte...what does he do? Yoro never impresses either, how much did he cost, £70m? Spurs-esque signings.

Calvert-Lewin has looked good this season. Always seemed injured at Everton and couldn't get a run of games, always seems fit now.

Leeds looking good going forward but a bit open at the back so still a chance for the red utd. Maguire a big miss at the back.
