    Would relegation be that bad?

His ‘squad building’ over the last few years will have played a mighty big part in it if we are.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I’m not sure why anybody is surprised we’re sticking with him. We stuck by Ange all through last season; terrible in the PL but better in Europe. Same as this year, only this time we’re in a tougher European competition and qualified 4th in the league stage.

    Not according to every bookie.

So we shouldn’t believe anything he says in public? Righty ho! 😂

    American politics

I regularly listen to The News Agents on which he is regularly entirely impartial and holds politicians from all parties to account. Being impartial would be his role on QT. And I think he’d actually be on top of his brief, and able to chair a panel, unlike the present incumbent.

Time to accept the inevitable now, I think. 😢

Didn’t realise City’s record at Anfield was so poor.

That probably explains it. They certainly weren’t basing it on our league performances from November ‘24 - May ‘25.

    American politics

I don’t get your point? His job on Question Time would be hold politicians of all stripes to account, something he’s consistently shown himself excellent at doing.

Lewis Goodall is excellent. He’d make a great host of Question Time. I might even start watching it again.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Who’d want to do it nowadays? Unpopular with the public, heavy media scrutiny, long hours for relatively little reward…?

    Cristian Romero

I think he’s attempting to oil the gates for his exit.

There is no evidence that is what the apology was about. Why would he apologise for a referee’s error if he thought that to be the case? Frank’s comments were that he had watched the incident five times and “it is a red card” and that Romero had “apologised to his teammates.” No mention of a...

P iss poor judgement, as I said.

Doing that consistently probably is tbf. I know we’re not supposed to bring up the quality of the teams in the EL last year on here, and that we’re (according to some) denigrating the club’s achievement if we do, but it is a fact that it was poor, with - for the first time - no CL teams...

Labour have achieved plenty that’s good in the last 18 months, from starting to reduce waiting lists; helping Britain to be seen as a serious country again in Europe and more widely; through a programme of renationalisation; improving employment rights; and through to breakfast club start ups...

    Would relegation be that bad?

Given how we fared against Tamworth last season I’d be worried.

Given the clip posted above you both obviously disagree with the person who made the tackle, who has apparently apologised for it, and his manager, who says he has watched it five times and says it is a red. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, though, I suppose.
