On Odobert, I am pretty impressed with him. He makes mistakes, not playing in Spence early in the opening minutes and other sloppy passes, but he has also played some nice jinks to get free, and got a shot off. Maybe our best attacker? Not saying much, but we are where we are.

He's there playing LCB and scored for us. The one time VDV broke in the box, Spence tried to cut inside instead of playing the overlap. Few are going to keep pace with VDV who should slide the ball for Solanke who should be primed and ready for a tap in. Not seen it yet... but its in our back...

Romero, second game in a row where he's looking for a pass, and forgets to first trap the ball. Then shocking defending, and we give away a simple goal after total domination. As usual our final third play lacks confidence and precision. We're promising - Odobert and Spence moments of great...

Imagine if we had a scoring attack as well!

Suddenly our midfield feels PL quality. But can they hit the ground running? Biss and Gallagher both coming in a bit cold. Need to get in the zone fast. We need players to stand up and get goals. It’s been an issue in every game this season. Can Solanke change that?

VDV plays semi-LB as Udogie did last game presumably. Him and Spence down the wing could be scary. Unpredictable at least.

    Andy Robertson

Pretty sure we’ve been in for more skillful wingers. But hard to sign players who are going to be at a level we want in Jan. Their clubs will be relying on them if they are quality player. Early days, but if you watched Spence’s last game, as though he’s a new signing from France or somewhere...

Its a postive link, because it shows the managment team are aware of our weak mentality during games. The lack of leadership, and how we let momentum drift in games has been apparent for some time. Under Ange the naivity of our players were so clear. We need players who'll recognise shifts in...

Bem-vindo. Another good singing. Should make the bench! We should be able to attract the worlds best yong players - because we really do rely on them :tearsofjoy: And it is a silver lining to our woeful performance in the league. We are bringing on some talented players whilst the medical...

Would try to keep the promising partnerships. Porro + Odobert. Udoggie + Spence Shame Xavi can't keep his run going. I'd simply sub in as few changes as possible. Gallagher and Tel in to replace Bergvall and Xavi. VDV could start on the bench, or come back in for Danso. But he is a better...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I just thought they looked a lot more settled, with good chemistry down the flanks, and the team was looking a lot more ballanced and settled. Not quite sure the point you're making there. I agree there were signs things were coming together in previous games, but Solanke and Udogie no doubt...

For Steff He has. And Frank has got Tel playing the best football he’s played for us. Some credit to Frank there. Tel was lost last season. I think people are just asking for fans like you to make some allowance for missing so many attacking players. Maybe can give Frank a bit of slack with...

Why wouldn't you get behind the side and manager whilst he is here? It might help.

    Archie Gray

He looked like he belonged tonight. The way he grabed that shirt, this is a player who's settled and for the first time for a while, the whole side looked at home. Can he keep developing? What does he add to his game now?

    Xavi Simons

He is more suited to the CL than PL. He didn't get any protection vs wham. Tonight, if you fell over the ref would blow for a fk. Which suits Xavi. If we play with tempo as we did this evening, then teams won't get close enough to foul him. We need to crowd the ref as soon as he's fouled in the...

Possibly happened twice. Romero is always impatient - no problem from him playing with tempo. And did you see his crazy slide rule pass? A Romero special. Unecessary, beautiful, risky. Romero wouldn't stand a chance vs Danso!

Are we saving this up? Funny not to announce it formally. Anyone know why it hasn't been completed?

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

The best thing tonight was the tempo. The side were prepared by Frank to play fast. The passes had pace. Everything we did had tempo. Well done Frank. What happened earlier in the season? Frank tried to get the side playing with tempo, and we just lost the ball. Constantly gave it back to the...
