Frank Give him time or get rid?

Most of it after he got the job. At least the “on here” bit.

Frank Give him time or get rid?

What scares me is that the club had at least 6 months to think about who’d replace Ange and they came up with TF. Went with give him till summer and I’d take 17th now if offered.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

So you think ex-managers or players shouldn’t be director of football for instance?

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

You mean specifically Spurs or in general?

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I think any new ownership or “regime change” would need to have someone in place who can help the club recover its lost identity. I mean for example a former manager/player (or both) at director level.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I feel for TF now. The issues are clearly bigger than him, or individual players for that matter.

    Fantastic post.

    Cristian Romero

He spoke the truth - publicly. But he showed no stomach for sticking around and forcing things to change. It seems his head wasn’t in a great place at the time, but it was typical of him based on previous form.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Overall it’s fine. There are differences of opinion but that’s great and probably none of us would bother being here otherwise. But if digging up posts from more than 10 years ago to belittle someone else’s point of view is a sign of where this is going then people might start to switch off.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

It wasn’t his best season. As for the “third in a two-horse race” trope, are you sure you’re in the right place?

    Mohammed Kudus

And apparently we started this season in 17th place so we’re actually doing very well.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Yep, there was a poll running here for months on who people would prefer as the next manager. Frank was bottom of the list iirc. Until it became obvious he was going to be the chosen one, at which point everyone piled in and said he was the right choice (including me, I can resist everything...

OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford FC ***

No, apparently despite the best efforts of our manager and his extensive coaching team the players are incapable of passing the ball forward. It can’t be the manager as he hasn’t been here for 2 years yet.

OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford FC ***

To summarise: “He can have the rest of the season, but …..”

To be fair that’s probably 3 more points than I was expecting.

Fabio Paratici - Also Sporting Director

If a stint as Tottenham’s sporting director is seen as a worse stain on your CV than a 3 year worldwide ban then we’re really in deep brick.
