    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Yeah, i agree. He has until the end of the season at least for reasons i've mentioned a few times already. How the team evolves between now (especially if we buy one or two players this January) and the summer will dictate if he's kept beyond then imo

    Mauricio Pochettino

Absolutely! I think it would say bad for both us and him that we'd want to make a tie-up again. He should actually well out of our reach as a club at this point and we ourselves should have elevated ourselves that we don't have to think of re-hiring him too..

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Yeah, perhaps an AI coach. Certainly that'd be the best possible with our reputation amongst coaches.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

That's a very fair and detailed summary. Do you not see though that our owners are the main problem though? I mean many could possibly have seen this issue and they employed Frank, probably because no-one better will come to us after decades of showing that when it comes to the crunch they are...

As things stand, unless ENIC act differently over a period of time, no-one better than Frank...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I agree, largely. It does seem he hasn't got the coaching to naturally have us passing, moving and attacking in ways that naturally create decent chances for the attackers aside from crosses. Even when having chances on the counter the running, positioning and passing angles taken by the players...

    ENIC

We will revisit this at the end of the window. Suffice to say, i think it seems you seem to be forgetting a lot of the time (not all) there was as much "ENIC out" sentiment as "Levy Out" sentiment. Levy was the figurehead of ENIC after all. If after this window not much seems to have changed...

Poch had a better 2nd, 3rd and 4th year than his first...similar re Redknapp. So it's not all one-way traffic

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I agree with a good chuck of that, but then do you not see how the club and its hieracrchy are every bit to blame for our predicament? If Sours can pay such wages to get more or less any manager they'd want, why can't it be the other way round and they pay the equivalents to get players much...

It's similar to people comparing what they saw in Ange's second year with what they are seeing in Frank's first...often seems disingenuous tbh

    Transfer thread

Very well put. I think people majorly underestimate the long-term damage that has been done to our reputation for hiring managers and then not going the whole hog and backing them in a way that they'd expect. We probably have to give Frank the season for that reason alone and then we can look...

    ENIC

I've asked you a question in another thread that sort of relates to this...but i'll specifically ask in response to the above: what is your point here? Or, like some others, are you ENIC out as well?

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I remember last year you advocating around now (just a year later into the managerial tenure) you advocating for Ange to be fired and that we can 'get any manager we wanted if we pay the money' (i'm paraphrasing a bit here but you get the gist). Frank was likely the manager that would have come...

Out of interest, how do the J and A-leagues compare with the PL in terms of predictability?

@ricky2tricky4city did you delete a reply to one of my post about 10 mins ago?

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Perhaps...or he will come through this 'dark' period and take us upwards when we win a couple of games via some deflected goals etc? There's probably nothing in his history that suggests this won't happen either...

Why do you say this? Is it because of the booing yesterday?

I have to say,i was impressed with the defence and defensive effort yesterday.

How did how we played yesterday compare to how we played vs Palace on Sunday? I didn't see the Palace game at all but watched us yesterday

I didn't watch the Palace match on Sunday but watched yesterday's Brentford match. Apart from scoreline, how would you compare the two matches in terms of how THFC played?
