    We need someone that can quickly get the ball through the lines and into the forwards. Everything is too slow and sideways at the moment. Bergvall running with the ball can't be the only option to link defence with attack. It's too easily countered if there are no other options. Xavi can't play...

    He isn't a top class passer, his strength is running with the ball and driving forward that way. He's not going to pick out line breaking passes regularly. Gray is more of a passer than Bergvall. The only players that we have that really have that ability are Madders and to an extent Kulu.

    If we don't pass forward we're never going to score and it results in the horrible football we've had to endure for most of the season. It also just invites pressure as when we eventually do lose the ball it's nearer to our goal.

    But there is no risk in any of our passing, it's all safe. We're never going to progress that way. While our midfield isn't world class it's also not that bad that it can't play forward. It's also about getting a system embedded into the team. Even if it's not going to work 100% with the players...
