    Johan Lange - Sporting Director

One positive is that Fab is obviously well thought of and wasn't just a DL fave. Overall though, these things will not succeed because of their skill sets etc....it succeeds or fails on the character/behaviour of the two individuals. Grown-up attitudes, no egos and emotional intelligence. If...

    New Kit?

So not new kits bout Old kits..... What's your favourite home shirt since the PL started.... Mine....2010/11 but with investec as sponsors . We're CL baby! Love the grown up, classy look of 2016/17 as well. Unbeaten at home in it during that final season at our beloved WHL.

I think you're right. So no matter how brick you are in 'official' qualifying, you get a shot in a one off match,?

Base income generation is key though. It genuinely (beyond Man U type mismanagement) puts a floor underneath you. Few clubs, especially the ones who have aspirations to take our place, have that. You then rely on good decision making and/or lucking out with a manager. That can work but is...

Well, the safe pair of hands has gone. We don't know if JL has relinquished final decision making to the children? If he has, what financial construct are they working within? The details of the trust they set up a while back around ownership would be interesting. The yard stick, if all...

I think you're probably right....why invest 'extra' ....when he's probably sitting in exactly the same position as if he'd invested more or not. He had the ultimate safe pair of hands in DL.

I wonder if that billion loss (third of his wealth) had a negative effect on his behaviour towards his Spurs investment (A subliminal belt tightening so to speak), or whether he was just leaving DL to get on with things in the trusted manner as usual??

Bear Stearns, but yeah.....he's had losers as well. Such is the nature of money games

I think even DL had a small share of Rock ... ultimately a real estate vehicle for JL

I think iirc Palace only spent 1 year in the PL during his tenure? The ground issue was his biggest loss/hurdle.. Initially not purchasing it from Ron Noades and then ending up with a increasing lease fee from Kelmsley (was ultimately owned by our very own Joe Lewis if you look into it)

    James Maddison

What's interesting from that video ....is, if I heard correctly, Madders already had a partial tear in that ACL (whether that was the initial injury he sustained last season, or something that happened further back, I'm not sure). Either way, it's not a great place to be in as an elite...
