Seems to be that it's now managers proving how clever they are by vritue of their system as well. Any deviation or adaptation is like some personal affront to them. This way also takes agency away from the players, 'yeah I know this is your skillset but now you do xyz'. People like Redknapp...

I've got time for all styles and ideologies. What stands out to me is the lack of quality of player, there was a period last night where the ball was just shanked backwards and forwards, nobody attempted to control it and pass. Kudus for example stands out for us partly cause he's able to...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I said before I don't think there's any chance he'll be under pressure unless we're in relegation battle. The man who brought in Arteta and stuck by him over years isn't gonna fold because Frank doesn't win the Champions League in his first season.

Standard of football across the board is going down, but the Premier League seems to be descending at a rapid pace. At least other leagues are technical.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

One factor that I think shouldn't be overlooked is that with the change in leadership I don't see Frank being under any undue pressure for a much longer period. He's been brought in by people that want him here, and going by how Vini appointed and stuck by Arteta, there is no reason to think...

When you see all the stats about how CB's now spend the most time on the ball when 10 years again back it was midfielders it's no surprise that the is a lack of metronomes in the game. It's by design but hopefully things will change again go back to producing midfielders who get on the ball.

Said yesterday that he's performance reminded me of the ones Maddison serves up often. Too high up the pitch and taking up poor positions. Whoever plays there needs to start coming and finding the ball instead of hoping it gets to them. Even someone in there who could pass it over 10 yards but...

I dunno, I watched Brentford under him and the last couple seasons I thought they were good value for thier status. But then again I thought Forest were a good watch under Nuno, compact, solid and then direct and devasating when they got the ball.

In his defence yesterday there was hardly anyone to release the ball to. When he breaks unless Porro overlaps there's nobody within 30 yards of him. Never and third man runs from midfield, or a striker between the defenders.

It's short sighted for me. Arsenal have a great chance of boring thier way to the title this year. Arteta a couple years ago now realised they were never gonna out football City and decided to go another route. He would have been sacked about 15 times now if he was managing Tottenham. I agree...

I don't think it's specifically the club, but look at how the FA, UEFA, Sky etc treat fans. You need Sky, BT and Amazon to watch your teams games for example. The fact there isn't team packages available to buy is a joke. You get fixtures moved that benefits nobody but the broadcasters...

2 things Said during the game that Tel and Odobert were playing the same position. Only one should start and neither of them should start up front. Second Xavi spent the game too high up with his back to goal in spaces impossible for him to receive the ball. Who's fault that is no idea. But...

Treat people as nothing but revenue streams and the result is that they will treat what they're paying for as a product and as such expect a certain level of satisfaction. Only way to reverse that is to make people feel valued as more then a replaceable figure on a balance sheet.
