Immense talent but it cannot be an accident that he has been more miss than hit under multiple managers. In this league at least.

Agree. But it's so refreshing that our manager is going to have a rotation headache across the entirety of our frontline. Cannot remember the last time, if ever, that has been the case!

Would also add that Aurier has a very good shot/finish in his locker. Enough so that I reckon he is capable pitching in with a handful of goals this season.

Competition can only help as you say mate. Fact is, if we're going to do anything meaningful this season then we need to be well stocked in key areas of the team. Having 2 quality RBs is vital in my view. I not sure whether there was ever any serious intent to sell Aurier but if so, I'm really...

I'd be surprised if, fitness allowing, those 3 do not become the default front line starters. And of course there's going to be a bedding in phase. I agree, there will inevitably be the usual sniping when/if they don't click from the off. Luckily, we have a manager who will not give a toss about...

In terms of ability, I think Serge is great. In fact, after TAA, I'm not sure there any obviously better RBs in the league. His issue has been the occasional rash bit of decision making. But then I recall that we often used to say the same about Kyle Walker.

I know games aren't played on paper, not the same Bale etc. but the prospect of Son, Bale and Kane as a front 3 is genuinely exciting. Can't wait.

Really enjoyed that. Very impressive performance given the circumstances. Lovely to see Bale celebrating as well.

Darren Bent exuding a slighty bitter vibe? Or maybe it's my lemon tea.

Not sure ' failure to break them down' is a fair criticism of yesterday's performance given the number of decent chances we had. Chance conversion on the day, certainly. I fully emphasise on the lockdown engendered cantankerousness however!
