*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal FC ***

https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ Some good stuff on the official site including Mourinhocam and highlights. Also, I'm doubtless way behind the curve here, but I had no idea that they you could now watch the entire match via the site. Brilliant.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal FC ***

That is a wonderfully understated yet withering slight againt our old friends. Cerebral resource, like most things, is ultimaty finite I suppose, so stands to reason that you would not wish to expend on those who do not merit it. How far Arsenal have fallen. That said, I hate these games...

    Jose Mourinho - SACKED

Posted this in the game thread. Really enjoy these videos. Far more engrossing than they have any right to be!

Man of the match - Emirates Marketing Project (H)

I've opted for Kane but this was definitely one of the tougher ones. You could make a case for virtually every player bar maybe bergwijn (on account of the relatively early substitution) and the subs. Proper team performance.

    Gareth Bale

There was definitely a lot of targeted fouling going on I thought. Quite clever in the sense that it was often in areas of the pitch that were far from their own goal. Stopped us building but without drawing the ire of the ref.

    OMT - SPURS v BRIGHTON

That was my take on it. His initial decision not to give the foul put him in the ignominious position of having to decide which of the two review outcomes would make him look less of plank. Couldn't have been much fun watching a video of him standing damn near on top of the incident. As the...

    OMT - Spurs v Burnley

It was Hojdbjerg's tackle that started the move that led to the corner that led to the goal. Margins.

I don't think they've won a game yet. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

    Tanio's goal was a work of art. Lennon's flick...outrageous.

    Matt Doherty

I agree with this. But owing to the fact that I rate Aurier pretty highly as opposed to not being impressed with Doherty.

Is this a fancier version of the Redknapp era?

I thought we played some lovely stuff against Southampton, Saudi Sportswashing Machine and United. Chelsea too in spurts. Opinions and all that but the idea that Mourinho only ever sets his teams out to play in a very specific (unexciting) style has always seemed way off base to me. Or at least far too...
