Stronger and more confident now, he can become one hell of a player for us this season. Was excellent yesterday, has that drive, the ability to get past a man and always threat whoever he comes up against - either he glides past himself or he opens it up for someone else. None of our other...

    Xavi Simons

I thought he looked quite good as well, but I wanted to see him more in the middle in that 10 role. There was space for him there to exploit. He did link up nicely with Spence quite a few times though.

I thought we created quite a bit yesterday - we just shut down shop after we got that third goal and cruised in to rest legs for Tuesday. But yes, I agree...

Hmmm, not sure I understand. As far as my memory goes, all three goals against Burnley were open play goals. Both against City were as well. 2 out of 3 today. 7 out of 8 goals from open play in our first 4 games. Is there some chances created from open play stat that isnt good?

Yeah. It would've been great if he could spray passes around like Barcelona Xavi as well, but he would be some kind of freak of nature if he had all of those attributes, and he would play for Madrid.

Spence and Kudus have been great. Xavi showing promise. Bergvall and VDV done a lot of good work too. Tel off the pace, not strong enough - but can't adjust to the pace unless he gets these chances. I reckon we'll see Richy pretty soon.

There's usually a big space in the middle of their mid block - I thought that was were Xavi were supposed to pop up.
