Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

Hmmn, wondering about the age of your daughter, made me wonder where Chirpy has gone? When my lad started going, seeing the mascot was probably the highlight of the game....maybe that's why the club's mojo has gone awol, Chirpy's absence...??

Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

Our home form since losing to Ipswich in November is truly awful. We beat United but lost 6 and drew 3 of the other home fixtures in the last 10. But before that we beat Brentford, West Ham and Villa. So what were we doing right when we beat these teams. How can we get our mojo back??

Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

So, Spurs against Southampton at WHL, Sunday 6 April at 2.00pm, no OMT as yet. No Tom Jones, no custard, have the OMT Gods deserted us? Will the men in white shirts simply collapse or will they produce a stirring second half fightback to claim a draw? Or will we see a miracle, an organised...

The Official 2024/25 Premier League Thread

Does anyone here take an interest in Notts Forest? I'd love to know what they are doing so well. Is it that they've got a great defence, are super organised? Having an old fashioned centre forward? Or is it all down to a manager who wasn't good enough for us?

    Ange departs

The reason that Ange hasn't been sacked is simple: the Board got feedback that the Tottenham manager's job was no longer seen as desirable, given that managers of the calibre of Mourinho and Conte were judged to have failed and were fired. The Board are trying to do what they can to support the...

    Ange departs

Before the game I said that I hoped we would see defensive organisation, but yet again the opposition score what looks like a free header in our box. Our centre backs never seem to know who to mark or how to mark.

    Ange departs

If we lose on Sunday, I will certainly be singing "you don't know what you're doing" at Ange. Football can be cruel but it is a results business, and this combination of manager and players is dreadful. If Son or Maddison are poor - don't pick them, etc etc etc

OMT: Spurs v Chelsea Thursday, 8pm at Stamford Bridge

No idea how many we will lose by tomorrow, but wouldn't it be a refreshing change to have some defensive solidity? Is that too much to ask?

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v AZ 13.03.2025 **

But does it have to be so black and white? Can't we try and keep the ball in their half but still have some defenders back closer to goal and make sure the DM/number 6 is in our half and facing forward?

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v AZ 13.03.2025 **

Did we get lucky with the second Odebert goal, he must have been close to offside? (Not that it matters one jot, but it's good if we are finally getting some luck. Got to say though, that to play so open once we went ahead is insane. Parrot nearly scored, as did their other guy going for the...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

Who knows, if we win next Thursday, perhaps today's recovery from 2 down will be seen as a turning point. Can't make Thursday, and based on my absence today, that could be a good omen....

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

Well well, I had a fantastic day weeding and tidying the garden, and didn't put a bet on a Bournemouth win, so great result all the way round. We're not in any danger of going down, who knows , we might even win on Thursday? Life is sweet!

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

My ticket hasn't sold on the Exchange and I'll do something I've never done when I've had a ticket: stay home and ignore the game. A front 3 of Son, Tel and Johnson wouldn't frighten a pub team, and unless Maddison decides to show up bit time, I fear we will get horribly beaten.

    *** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v AZ - 6.3.25 ***

It's annoying that after 2 years of the "process", we still can't put a decent team on the pitch. New manager next season and start it all over again. 2 years after that, doubtless it will be the same thing.................

No-one was marking Haarland. Easiest goal he will ever score. OK it's hardly a settled defence but even so leaving Haarland unmarked is pretty dreadful ...

    Archie Gray

Gray is wonderfully talented. In an utterly dire season, the emergence of Spence, Gray and Bergy has been the redeeming feature, one which gives some hope for the future.

    Fixture & Ticket News 2024/25

I've listed mine in the South Lower, block 256, as I don't need the slow train out of London and a late night, but if it hasn't gone by tomorrow mid morning, I'll go. Always good to get a pint or two of London Pride beforehand...
