    I hope your right. There's no knowing an individuals characteristics and motives. Usually supporting a football club runs deep (stupidly so:)), so you hope wanting the best for it would trump anything. It's certainly an interesting question. I suppose with DL we knew the answer to that question.

    I think DL is a fair minded fella with ideals and beliefs based around that. So unless he's going to enforce UEFA and FIFA to his way of thinking, I doubt there's a job at either of those organizations that DL would have any interest in. The regulator for the government... definitely a yes.

    I was relating it to the prediction of a minority outside investor coming in. ENIC would probably prefer DLs holding to be the one 'up for sale' ... otherwise it's them that have to sell a chunk. Unless they go for a share issue and dilute everyone's share holding.

    Yes I know that.....and the banks very much let the powers that be know that as well. Even when the banks behave stupidly, the governments bend to their will. The government are their puppets now. (I think 2008 rubber stamped that) I think Gutterboy is declaring what he sees as the end point...
