    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

That's right. Levy was never a PR machine for himself, so the interviews he did give I will take at face value. Furthermore, lots of people inside football have said he is honest and straightforward, and many of those people who have said that would have a good reason not to. That's solid...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I think you're denigrating what was and romanticising what might be tbh. Not massively but more in an expectation that things could be very different. To play family fortunes for a minute....what would move us higher in the league and closer to cups? Top answer by a some way ....more money...

They'll for sure do that. When you have bottomless pits of money it's easy to win hearts and minds.

I think that's close to it. And little did many know that DL is a decent fella with our very best interests at heart. Here's hoping that Joes son and daughter being 'Spurs fans' really does count for something?

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Nah. DLs role is now split (and tbh pretty much like it would be in most companies) Charringtons title (and as such, role) is different to DL. It's probably more a Lewis money, ownership/buyer direction thing.

Think Munn was saying just the same.

I didn't know you were a City fan?

    Wrong thread

You're right, it just the same as politics. Identify what the masses aren't keen on. Then start storytelling around how we will be doing the opposite. I'm not being cynical...it's just a truth. Outcomes will serve judgement ultimately I like Vinai though, but maybe he's just a good communicator.

    New takeover rumours

I don't think he'd have said anything out of turn.

Tiny variations in that if the 'spend what we earn' model continues. More money ups the 'persuasion' all round in transfer deals.

....back handed compliment We're only 4 weeks in :)

    New takeover rumours

A 'squeeze out' (point 5) ain't available to them then ....if 90% is the threshold. That might be a good thing...just need to think of good reasons why :)

    New takeover rumours

That's why I'm suggesting Levy was a barrier as he had the added layer of it had to be the right type of investor/takeover. I'm thinking since the changes at companies house, it's gone from a very straightforward Joe Lewis - Levy communication line, with J.Lewis mainly hands off and trusting...

    New takeover rumours

I wonder if that was a problem. Levys ethics?. And they were born out of either being a fan and/or just a strong belief in operating fairly?

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

As long as a parent does actually pay their children some attention...I agree. There is now another monster in the room though.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I think if the acquirer is buying a big enough stake (can't remember the percentage) ...they can 'squeeze out' the minority shareholder and force those shsrehooders to sell their shares at the offer price. I might be corrected in this. I don't think just ENIC shares would be at a level to enact...

Martin Samuel in the Times... As a sidenote it's quite funny reading the West Ham bit after the Levy bit....the woes and moans of football fans. Every club a micron away from discontent:) ...no matter how well you're doing and your relative position. https://archive.ph/vN7rs

I have a slight feeling the age might be a little higher 🤔...I think I might have in the past thought it was teenage years...now I'm not so sure.
