*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley FC ***

I've said it before but I don't think our other players see any point passing to him. It doesn't matter whether he plays on the right or the left he's always a ghost, he's always the player with the fewest touches. So he's either doesn't make himself available for good passes which I doubt as I...

Johnson isn't dangerous in possession on either side. Any danger he presents is via open space runs into the penalty box. That isn't going to be affected by which side he plays on. Stupid barge by Porro then, the ball was long gone.

VDV rarely passes forwards, his passing is much safer so fewer turnovers makes sense.

I'm finding the obsessing over Madison tiresome. There is no guarantee he was intending to start him over Kulu in the first place. I feel it was way more likely Kulu was getting that role.

Ange also played Johnson on the left at first. He only moved over to the right when he realised he wanted Kulu in the middle.

Missed the first 20, how did the goal come about. I see it was Kudus to Richy?

    Savinho

Are you happy with our existing options for the left hand side? If not then we are going to have to invest in someone and even if we go for someone cheaper there is no guarantee that they will be successful. I get it that he might be expensive at this point but he genuinely has top level...

    Squad

One of Odobert, Tel or Johnson is going to have to drop out if we get the two new signings in and if Kulu has any prospective of being fit relatively soon. We can't really afford to build the CL squad with just the new AM as the sole central tempo setting creative option. If that player is...

    Savinho

Yeah I don't see the comparison tbh bi guess he has a scheme dribbling style but yeah I don't really see them as analogues.

    Savinho

I did say assists not goals. He got more assists than Mahrez got in some seasons at City and less than some seasons but roughly the same kind of number.

    Savinho

Yeah. Mahrez was getting 8-12 PL assists a season for City and Savio got 10 last year.

    Savinho

Fewer goals, the same number of assists.

I don't usually bother getting into the weeds with all the transfer rumours, I find it generally better to just wait and see what actually happens but supposedly this journalist has a really good record with Brazilian players and is closely linked with Savinho's agent.

    Pape Matar Sarr

I think he has fantastic potential. He can literally do everything, it's just about giving him the environment whereby he can grow into that player.

    Richarlison

See I don't think it's to do with injuries, he was the same at Watford and Everton. At those clubs he didn't really have any significant injury issues and his game to game play was just as inconsistent. Him falling over being unable to trap a ball at times is not a new development at Spurs.

    Richarlison

Nah I agree he puts in tons of effort, he's lacking quality generally but yesterday I thought he did a lot better than he typical does. Held the ball up well, combined decently, had a couple of shots etc. didn't fall over so much. If we could get that level of performance consistently from him...

    Mathys Tel

Well...that's another question. Whenever a player of Tel's complexion misses a pen a certain kind of abuse from a certain type of "fan" comes out. It's as predictable as a clock striking 12 everyday.

    Eberechi Eze

They will pay but you need some performances first. I'm not really surprised they haven't come in big for any of our players as we haven't had any put in a consistent level of performance that would blip on the radar. Then when you add how poorly the team itself did last season in the league...

    Richarlison

It was a really good performance but let's not get carried away. Let's see 5 to 10 games at that level before we start talking as if that's the norm because it bloody isn't.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Exactly. To play the ball over the top they need to setup as you say otherwise the player is just rubbing around aimlessly which is exactly what happened yesterday. Personnel in that respect wasn't the issue. We actually needed to be able to play out of the pressure somewhat. A pass into the...
