To progress to a point where we're challenging in the league, champions league and in the cups I'd have thought

You can't go in to every managerial appointment expecting the messiah, give them a couple of years and if you think they can be improved on make a change - don't see why it should be different to players really

Very impressive given their resources. This is Eddie Howes record at Bournemouth by way of comparison, given he similarly managed a small club in the PL, had them punching and has managed to handle a step up since : As you can see, similar placings but did eventually wind up relegated.

I'd prefer Mbuemo - i think Frank could get more out of Solanke than what we've seen from Wisssa

Resources reflecting your standing most definitely is a thing and im not going waste my time arguing otherwise. Mbuemo was signed having only played 70 senior games at a lower level in France - he has been developed by Frank at Brentford to the player he is today. A key part of being able to...

What Ange showed was that he was capable of winning the EL while sacrificing the PL. If you are PL top 6 club you're going to be the favourite for the EL in it's current format - it's a level below the PL in terms of competitiveness and sorry it is not an indicator that you can do anything else...

He has a club with the 2nd lowest wage bill in the league consistently outperforming it's level. There's definite logic for him doing well here based on having proven himself able to do that. Having us just at our level has us 5th-6th, massively outperforming that and well you you can fill in...

By making the claim that none of the mid table managers guarantee anything the implication is that there are options out there that do. I've explained the logic behind my thinking - I think it's pretty solid. You haven't actually provided any of yours

No one will guaranteed anything - what point do you think you're making there exactly? If a manager has proven himself able to have a PL club punching way above it's weight then for me that is as good an indicator as any that they can do a good job here.

They are all proven at PL level to have teams playing at their level or above it. Brentford for example have one of the lowest wage bills in the league - Frank and their transfer department are doing wonders there keeping them consistently mid-table.
