With Emirates Marketing Project found guilty of all 115 charges, what will this mean for the many teams who were disadvantaged by their cheating? A certain Tottenham Hotspur AFAIR finished 5th and missed out on Champions League football in four of those seasons with Emirates Marketing Project ahead. It is suggested that CL qualifcation is worth £50-100m+ each season. Of course there are certain intangible aspects like reduced ability to attract top stars. How much should we ask for in compo? £500m?

Only found guilty of 114 of 115 charges.
That means they'll get off scot free.

I can see a very very hefty 6 point deduction in their future.

Nobody will ever try that again.

Everton sold John Stones to them and are now loaning Grealish.
They're clearly complicit and will get a 20 point deduction. If they're lucky.

Burnley just successfully sued Everton for £40M based on loss of revenue from being relegated in 2022 when Everton had breached FFP.

The total loss of revenue for Burnley was £58.5M. So they won approx 68% of lost revenue.

Spurs finished 1 place out of the Champions League spots and behind Emirates Marketing Project in 4 of the season for which the 115 charges are covered.

Based on participating in the Champions League in those seasons with a group stage exit vs Europa League, the estimated drop in revenue is £80M.

So based on the legal precident set by Burnley v Everton, Spurs can expect legal damages of over £50M.
