Richarlison

Sure it was said we have an extension clause we can activate which I guess we will do to protect the value
And then sell him
There is no value to protect if he is not registered and is not playing. Hevhas already been alienated so it would be complex stupidity to now activate an extension clause.

Very much like the Eze deal last season, the similarities are uncanny bar the begging phone call..

Yeh, shows parallels, waiting for you guy for a while to get played by the agent. Thats the game unfortunately as it was with Eze, just no time to pull out a Xavi Simons this summer. But we will go again in Jan I am sure.

It’s funny how nobody here ever complains about the players we sign who other clubs thought were going to them…

He just said he's training, no mention of being able to play. Keeping his fitness up before a move either by this weekend or January or even being released.
I realise what he posted, I was just saying it makes no difference and to be honest is a waste of time as he's not playing any time soon.

No you are right. I’m just pointing out he’s in first team training and not with the U21s.
Which I think is mental - Roberto doing things his way I guess 🤷‍♂️

Really? Why?

Roberto wasn't too bothered about bombing Lankshear back out to the U21s without giving him a chance in the first team squad training, which has ultimately lead to him leaving and that decision looking stupid.

Think via the PFA they have to abide by some levels of employment law to avoid work place discrimination issues.

Not heard that is what happened with Lankshear.

Eh? He's employed to play football for Spurs, was offered a contract extension and said no. He's not being discriminated against, he's just a plonker who should be reaping what he's sown.

Lankshear left as Roberto decided he wasn't getting a chance.

Unions are going to union.

I know that but don’t know the story about him being forced to train with the U21’s to force him to leave.

Apparently there's a rumour in Brazilian media that Richy is going to take legal action to force Spurs to cancel his contract so that he can join Vasco de Gama. I suspect if he offered to walk away for nothing we'd bite his arm off but by 'cancel' he probably means 'pay up' his contract.
