Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Why/how is he that? I mean I get people might not agree with his politics but I don’t get why that makes him any more of a c*nt than anyone else one might disagree with?
Think @WillWeEverBeGoodAgain is saying Khan is on a par with all the others considered 'clams'. He didn't say, "more of a clam than any one else one might disagree with".
And yes among others I dislike Khan, always swerves the questions like most MPs do, never takes the blame for failings and constantly bangs on about how great London is. Vast parts of it now are overcrowded brick holes.

It is a very big place though and is in many places still a wonderful city. I spend alot of time in it and love it, rarely have a bad experience and find the whole "Londons gone" rhetoric which seems to gain traction with the likes of Adam Brooks, Tom Skinner and the like wide of the mark

There are still some great places and the history and what is available is still amazing. Live in the more affluent areas and it's lovely,

Loads of good places to explore and spend time, yeh it has its issues, no denying, but I absolutely love it as a city to spend time. Right up there
Moved to the outskirts 9 years ago after spending my life there on council estates. Have to travel in for work, hate it. Travelling in for leisure/socialising and it's a different experience, the packed tube and overground trains don't seem to matter so much when you've something to look forward to. Pain in the arse getting back from a gig at the o2 though 😎

I do for both, all about timing, long gone are the taking 1hr for a 50 min journey and running about. Time, coffee and loads of stops to ease the burden, bliss

Yeah, that really isn't a new thing.
Pick an era, read a book from era about London - it's a constant

Regardless of what some think of Khan even with opponents promising to get rid of congestion zones and ULEZ he actually increased his vote share by 3.8% at the last Mayor election , seems Londoners are happy with him.

So what's with all the negatives about London, something like 13 major league professional football teams, 40 odd major theatres, approx 88 michelin star restaurants plus thousands of others, countless 5 star hotels , world famous museums and the most frequent train service in the world on the Victoria Line.

GDP in London is equal to some whole countries, it's a pity London doesn't declare itself a City state leave the UK and rejoin the EU and leave the rest of the country to Farage or just as bad the Tories.

London is a great city, we visit it at least twice a year and have done for nearly 20 years.
When you look at who they vote for as mayor mind you I'm not sure we should trust Londoners with a vote 😉.
