I agree with everything above. Frank is shi t. I’m looking forward to maybe Ryan Mason or the bloke from Ajax who arrived this week taking us forward to the next level. My dream is that Matty Wells comes back, but it seems unrealistic. Is it a step too far too dream of that?

I'd also love to know how people who want Frank gone this week would navigate the rest of the season and then secure a long term manager. Same appointment or do we do it in 2 hits? Who exactly can do this or these roles?

It's an interesting point of inflexion for the club.......AGAIN !!!

Anyone will be an improvement. I'd take Harry till the end of the season at this stage. At least the football would be watchable.

If we get rid of Frank I think we'll end up with a caretaker and then a new guy come the summer. Will be a lot more good options available then.

Not my job to know who could be a good caretaker. But people within the club (Lange, Paratici, Vinai) should have been thinking about that since before Christmas at least).

I really do want managers to be given time, but this is getting ridiculous now and we're sliding towards a relegation scrap. 4 really tough games coming up.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we got more points out the next 4 league games than we have the last 5. Brentford under Frank were good at being the underdog, having less of the ball, hitting on the break and utilising on set pieces

And who is going to replace him? Poch is not happening and those who think Xabi Alonso are in dreamland. Literally pointless bringing in a caretaker.

Even a new manager bounce will be better than what we have now - we could well lose our next 4 league games then we'll be right in a relegation fight but equally I wouldn't be surprised if we picked up a couple of wins either but that's probably just hope.

Best bet is to get a caretaker in until the summer and then we'll have a lot more options.

Our lack of attacking experience is exposed against smaller teams. We get to attack more but don’t have the skill to break them down. We keep committing forward and fall into their trap of leaving ourselves exposed.

If we can get Alonso I’d switch it up. Would love to see Frank come good. And if top calibre mangers aren’t prepared to come to us - who would - then it is better to have Frank than someone like Mason.

Whoever’s in charge needs to get our forwards scoring. Frank is working on it. Can he get it working quick enough?

So hard as the stigma of not scoring builds on the young forwards. And only goals quells the insecurity.

No! No! Mason better! Shiny new thing!!!

Didn’t see the game today. Was the performance bad enough for him to be under even more pressure or are people reacting to the result?

I thought we played well to start the game and deserved to go 1-0 up. But we looked shaky the few times they did attack. They equalised late in the first half and were the better team to start the 2nd half. As soon as we started trying to score again they had a close offside go against them and then went 2-1 up. We then went all out to equalise and did.

Was it the worst performance of the season? No but in th context of the entire season where he should have already been sacked it was more brick.

2 wins in 15
3 CBs against Burnley for 70+ minutes
45 minute performance as usual
Relegation fodder looking better coached than us as usual
Could be 15th by end of this matchweek and as little as 3 points off the 17th place team

If the bar is could you rescue a draw against dogbrick promoted sides, I really don't know what to say.

Yep. We are Tottenham Hotspur. It’s not acceptable.

I’m amazed and disappointed that near half of people who voted here think that Thomas Frank should stay until the summer. What is it that these people have seen?

Yeah, I just don't know what a caretaker does differently though. They can't magically fix the injury crisis so they can't really change the line-up. The players still look like they are on side so will they get a higher application out of them? Will shifting some tactical pieces really make that much difference?

This one's a real dilemma.

One question I’d ask of those who clearly see an uplift without Frank: how do you know we will improve and not get worse with a new manager?

And which available manager do you think we could attract and would improve us with no preseason?

I’d swap Frank for Alonso, but would he come to us? Maybe in the summer if other big clubs aren’t interested.

I think the latter, we played really well in patches and should have scored another.

Both goals (again) came from individual mistakes rather than Burnley attacking something in our system.

We were by far the better team.
