***Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea***, Premier League, Nov 1st 2025 at White Hart Lane

We really have no attacking structure (excluding corners and free kicks).
The last two seasons we had a clear and effective attacking structure, but no defensive structure. We always looked like scoring, but also conceding.

Now we have a clear defensive structure, but absolutely no attacking structure.
We always look stopping the opposition from scoring, but we never look like creating anything.

We can't create any real attacking play through the game.

It's not just about having better players, cos lesser teams can still create attacking plays. It's about being brave with attacking plays and movements, and we aren't set up to do that.

Frank needs to realise that at bigger clubs he won't have a whole season to work through just focusing on defence and set pieces.

He'll need to start giving the crowd (especially at Spurs) an attacking identity much more quickly.

An absolute disgrace of a performance. To play like that in a derby is completely unacceptable. They should have won 4 or 5.

spacegoat Xavi if you like. When he went off, we were still utterly devoid of any creativity. I don’t fault the players. That’s on the manager.

He needs to sort this out. Our away form will deteriorate before our home form gets better unless something changes. We got a glimpse in midweek.

Utterly fudging shameful display. Of course he gets time but that is not good enough by a long, long way.
When he went off we got worse. He was the only one actually trying to get on the ball and create.

Doesn’t have to be one or the other. We could be solid and hard to beat AND also look like we have a clue at the other end. 3-0 flattered us last week.

absolutely it can, but it's early days, he's had 15 games, and I see obvious improvement on the previous regime

lots to be positive about

as some suggested, Vicario looks much better now we actually use outfield players to defend as well

Danso is a fudging class act

Palhinha likewise

the xGA, today aside, has dropped massively

I can actually see us keeping a clean sheet now

I will admit that I didn't particularly see the hype when Bissouma played for Brighton; people told me he was GHod and I wanted to believe them.

I will admit that I didn't particularly see the hype when Caiceido played for Brighton; people told me he was GHod and I didn't know what to believe.

I will admit that I didn't particularly see the hype when Enzo Fernandez joined Cheatski, he looked brick to be frank, but now is not.

We have suffered with 18 year olds and 19 year olds and 20 year olds and always hoping they will blossom and we will be good, but Fark me, we were wet paper tonight.
I have always really rated Caicedo. There is a leader in there. Was really disappointed when Chelsea got him.

agree but I also feel that maybe technically better. Johnson, Xavi are not able to get pass players often. Tel blah. Ode maybe able to pass but final ball not great.
Our top scorer is a defender no? Whilst I believe our attacking plan can be better but who can implement that even with coaching.

We couldn't keep the ball or progress the ball or do anything today. That's not coaching
That's just a lot of them having a mare
I'm sorry, but You are wrong. An inferior team that are well coached and have a plan, can outplay a better team without a plan. If our players can't get past defenders on their own, which by the way is rubbish, we have to do something else. Pass and move past them and play them out. It's about structure, cohesion and playing with a plan. Currently we don't do that, and it needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.

The quotes after the Monaco game were very harsh from Vicario. Correct but harsh and unusual for a 0-0 draw. There are signs the players aren’t all in on this.
Although Vdv was happy last week. Funny that him and Spence and X all had a chance to clear the ball before they scored......so maybe they look at themselves to
