I've been a few times and it's never been a nice experience
The one time I applied was 2008 when we drew 4-4. But our record there is pretty shocking.

Said it many times over the years, got to be a gooner in charge of the rail networkand of course on the one home game we have on the Xmas period, there are no trains between Stratford and Northumberland Park
Got the upmost respect for all the Spurs fans that go away to Arsenal/Chelsea/LiverpoolI couldn’t think of anything worse than going to Arsenal away. Especially when we’re likely to get a hiding.
For me the only thing worse than going to Arsenal away is not going to Arsenal away. I must have been there and to Highbury 30 odd times. I actually prefer away games to home games. Like last season I’ll probably end up going to more away games than home games.I couldn’t think of anything worse than going to Arsenal away. Especially when we’re likely to get a hiding.

Away games in general yes, I love going to them. Just not Arsenal away.

My first ever away game was at Highbury with my Dad, who managed to take us into the North Bank end (he used to go with his brother in law, a gooner, every other week, as was the way back then) and I remember the bloke on the turnstile saying I was brave because I was wearing a Spurs scarf. My first ever away game was the 81 semi final replay at Highbury. That’s probably why Arsenal away is my favourite game
You can blame that on the guy in your avatarStruggling to shift my ticket for Fulham at home on Saturday 28th November. I guess the idea of watching us on a cold Saturday night isn’t too appealing when you could be out on the tinkle or watching the game at home.
Same here! Might be first one this year I’ve not been able to shift.Struggling to shift my ticket for Fulham at home on Saturday 28th November. I guess the idea of watching us on a cold Saturday night isn’t too appealing when you could be out on the tinkle or watching the game at home.
I had this down as one to go to BUT since the shift to 8pm...I cannae be bothered.Same here! Might be first one this year I’ve not been able to shift.
Yes, I can imagine it’s a hard sell for a lot of people atm, given the cost of living and the fact that we’re, well, not very good value for money, shall we say?I had this down as one to go to BUT since the shift to 8pm...I cannae be bothered.
None of that would stop me going...just that ko time is a bit of a pig with travel home. Plus I was half eyeing this one to take my daughter to but would have to hotel it and make it into a Weekender...and with a 13 year old, the old pound note part would definitely come into itYes, I can imagine it’s a hard sell for a lot of people atm, given the cost of living and the fact that we’re, well, not very good value for money, shall we say?
Yes, sorry I didn’t mean those specifically for you pal. The time is a valid reason, as well as the above. Tonight might help convince a few!None of that would stop me going...just that ko time is a bit of a pig with travel home.
