World class for sure. On the Mount Rushmore of English players but impossible and pointless (beyond the fun of it) to say who is the GOAT. Charlton, Matthews, Banks, Keegan, Moore before you get to Finney, Lawton, Billy Wright etc all come into that conversation. Greatest goal scorer, greatest...

Thanks. I'll try and get to that podcast later today. Agree that there are many, many definitions and levels of Zionism and that in itself creates some of this issue. Do any people have the right to a recognised homeland though? Legally? Do the Kurds? the Basques? The Rohingya? Tibetans? Sikhs?

Playing Devil's Advocate here a little bit but why is it, factually, wrong? Favouring a group of people based on a characteristic (here faith) at the expense of others who do not have that characteristic is as much racism as using a characteristic to degrade someone who has it whilst promoting...

Bizarre clickbait headline to the video, given it isn't mentioned in any of the 6 minutes of actual content. It seems the teacher was accidentally splashed with fuel as students tried to set a trash can on fire rather than being doused or targeted.

Thought they got away with the CAS findings purely on timings - expiration of the statute of limitations on the case. So a technicality, certainly not a 'win'.

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

You can strip the titles without awarding them to anyone else. Pulis is talking about Stoke's FA Cup Final but who did City beat to get there who may have beaten Stoke in the final? there are too many imponderables to say just finalists or runners-up get promoted so strip the titles and just...

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Apparently (expert on BBC ....) because EPL is a separate league to the EFL then relegation (beyond a pounts deduction) isn't viable. So it would either be a points deduction leading to a one year championship jolly where their fans can feel like martyrs or total expulsion from the pyramid.

    Israel Gaza

Got my tin foil hat on .... Strange how whenever Israel has a bad week (i.e. the hounding in the UN this week) then suddenly 'Iran' or 'Russia' launch a low grade attack on a nation that didn't support them (Israel)

8 years (or however many years they cheated for) operating at 40% psr starting from national league or the division below the lowest club they played in the league during that time. They need a punishment that actually saps their ability to spend over about a decade rather than a one year jolly...

    Luka Vuskovic

Didn't want him to go. Agree spurs effed up on him and Lankshear but what is done is done. To raise the issue every time he does well or we lose (high frequency of both at moment!!!) achieves nothing constructive. Doesn't merit hos own thread here because he is a former player now. Poor...
