What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Weren’t we strongly linked with him over the summer, much like with Semenyo? And yet we signed neither and here we are.

    Cristian Romero

Honestly it makes no sense. I thought they’d get the drop ball and kick it long to give us possession back but no, they passed it back to the keeper so that they could retain possession. You just know that if we did the same then the whole of Liverpool support would be in tears of injustice.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Well for one thing, when we had a full team our method of attack appeared to be to pass the ball to Romero, to try to coax Liverpool forward so that we could play a pass in between the lines. We had no change in tempo, no players to create, few players that can take the ball and run at the...

Konate should have been sent off too but once again it seemed as if the referee was giving any doubtful decision in favour of Liverpool. Liverpool were given many soft decisions early on, whereas we wouldn’t get anything, and then allowed Ekitike goal and ignored that Konate should have been...

I find it frustrating, following on from what’s just been said, that we press at the start of the match and then quickly completely abandon it. I want us to be pressing relentlessly, give opponent no time to breathe whilst in possession. I appreciate that we may need to lower it at times but...

As has been said, Kulusevski’s injury wasn’t a freak injury. That’s what happens when you run players into the ground. It was waiting to happen.

Wirtz must be rubbing his hands together as we are the team that keep giving gifts out and Christmas is just around the corner.

That’s an interesting way to paraphrase what I said into completely something that I didn’t say. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Neither had Solanke had he before joining us?

It was sloppy from the players who for whatever reason didn’t seem dialled in. So many were off the pace, showed no eagerness, no energy. It was a flat disjointed lethargic performance and it’s hard to know how much of that came from Thomas Frank.

Kudus seems like a YouTube footballer at the moment. Nice piece of skill every so often that gets replayed and his reputation built as a ‘baller’ but he can be so laboured in possession, lacks end product too often, and Kulusevski walks right back into the team in Kudus position when he returns.

Absolutely. And when Kolo Muani gets the ball, he’s direct tries to go at it but as he’s coming from a wide position he’s left with too much to do.

Richarlison definitely needs to be taken off. Kolo Muani should be our striker.

I genuinely don’t know what we are doing. Davies was in the box, had time, then turned and kicked the ball out of play. Whyyyyy?

Was it the players Christmas party last night? So so sloppy in possession today. Can’t blame Thomas Frank as just too many individual mistakes.
