OMT SPURS v burnley

Well first time this season I've felt genuinely frustrated and upset about our match. Why the fudge can't we defend in the last 5 minutes of matches?! It wasn't a shock when they equalised. We just lose all shape and Burnley fully deserved the result.

I thought Dele played well too, once he got p1ssed off. I think he's trying not to get wound up and do silly things, but we need him angry imo, he's better when he's got the boll0ck ache.

Thought Sissoko actually did well.

But we have this issue, after spending the whole game camped in their half, we don't have our own defensive shape and organisation. On top of that we're too tired to press the ball, and they just run though into acres of space with Burnley's midfielders having time to chip the ball into the runners.

Far far better than we can sit deep if we need to, get compact as they and chelsea were, then brake from that solid foundation.

How pathetic. Why bring on winks and not Sanchez? They were just banging the ball up. Trippier was terrible

fudging fuming

Kane was completely gassed past 75 - bring him off, bring Janssen on to stick out his a*se and keep possession in the corner.
KWP - bring him on to sit ahead of Trippier, who cannot defend to save his life, and provide some full-back cover.
Winks - bring him on earlier. 75th minute, maybe. Dembele was hobbling around on one leg near the end, why Winks was held back until six-odd minutes before the end is beyond me.
Dao Sanchez - send him on earlier as a quick, warm body to shore up the back three, if necessary.

Or bring on two players at once in the 75th minute - or three players in the 80th, or *something* similar to show the team that sleepwalking into an inevitable f*cking goal conceded isn't on.
Only three subs allowed there mate ;)

1 point from what was a guaranteed 6 last season

lots of hiding and easy option taking

I'm so tinkled off, I gave them a ton the other day for CL tickets, if we play like this against Madrid & Dortmund we'll set some CL records

It's a really sh1t result/ last ten minutes, but I think there are encouraging signs from the performance. We could probably do with a couple more new faces just to lift the team a bit. Good time to have an international break now, they can come back strong.

Sorry mate, got to disagree

Christian was pretty poor today, but no one on the bench to swap him and Son with.

Can see why he wants Barkley

When you compare the teams we could play a youth team player against them and I'm a positive fan

They had players like a Robbie Brady... Robbie Brady!!!!! Just putting it out there as that's the level there at and although they should be commended their still brick

It is too early to write anything off, but its unlikely we will win the league. Without Rose and Walker/Aurier and unsettled at a new ground, we've made a poor start to the season.

We need someone in midfield I think. A bit of quality in there who could help us along. A Schneiderlin or Carrick type.

My CL tickets would cost £200. Tonight is last chance to buy. Not sure that I will after the game today.,

Let's look on the bright side. If we fail to make Europe this year, we'll win the league next season. That's what happens now, right? Nice way to see in the new stadium.

Only saw bits and pieces of the games given the streams were crap however some of the criticism of Poch's subs is harsh. When you have a bench like we had today (and which typifies how weak our bench has been for the last couple years), if he'd have brought some of them on earlier it would have been gambles and those on here moaning about the subs, would have been moaning then. Janssen is rarely used because he's generally been poor since arriving at Spurs, a 17 year-old would a huge gamble in a game which is 1-0, Sissoko is Sissoko....the only option which I expect Poch and most on here trust would have been Winks.

One area where I think Poch can improve as a manager is changing a game via ths subs he makes as our subs rarely make an impact, however its harsh to judge him on that til we have any half decent subs

We won't finish top 6 at this rate.

In the end, if Harry put away one of his chances we'd have romped that 6-0. Even the best teams have days like today, it's just we have got this Wembley boll0cks to contend with.

All of our players would leave if we don't get top 4. So not sure how we would win the league
